What is Wild?
Wild Accelerator is a 501(c)3 developed to holistically support imaginative, innovative founders from historically marginalized backgrounds globally, working on ideas that can transform our world for the better.
Wild was launched as a pilot in 2018 to empower female founders to create, connect, and generate opportunities, shoulder to shoulder with mentors and experts across all industries. Our 2018 Season 1 founders were each offered $25k in-kind services and a $20,000 investment.
Story Acquired the Wild brand & assets in late July 2019 and launched season 2 of the micro accelerator in the fall with six founders participating and over 83 applications from all parts of the world.
AN INCLUSIVE APPROACH:
Wild programming is centered around the needs of under-resourced femme-identifying, LGBTQIA, Black, and Brown founders in the U.S. and Internationally.
